He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley Franklin and Elsie A. Davis (Kimbrell); and his stepfather Joseph Randall Kennedy. He is survived by: his son Harley Franklin Davis II (Sherry); his wife Gloria Ann Schronk; his grandsons, Nolan of Itasca and Joseph Davis of Itasca; and his sister Karen (David Brackin) of Itasca.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors (2495 Corsicana Hwy, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (300 E Franklin St, Hillsboro, TX 76645). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Itasca Cemetery.
