It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hollis Comer of Itasca, Texas, born in Milford, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bus" Comer and Vada Jones Comer; his siblings, George Comer and Dorothy Hestand; and his brothers-in-law, F. L. Upchurch and Melvin Hestand.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Comer; his children, Holly (Brian Surginer), Michelle (Rian Mills), Sister Ann Upchurch of Hillsboro and Brother Richard (Juanita Comer) of Itasca; and his grandchildren, Jake Comer, Kane Surginer, Abigail "Abby" Mills and Cooper Mills. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
