It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Bennett (Italy, Texas), born in Winona, Texas, who passed away on June 4, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mott Fortner and Lela Fortner (Johnson); her children, Edith Meunch, Joseph Burmbelow and Roger Willeford; and her siblings, Edwin Fortner, Sam Fortner, Chris Sutton and Mary Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Willeford (Jackie) of Albuquerque, NM and Diana Hanes (Jason) of Hillsboro, TX; her grandchildren, Ben, Shawn Carroll, Brandon Burmbelow, Jimmie Cole, Heather and Clayton Farmer; and her sister Barbara Bebee. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
