He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Duval Goodman and Allie Goodman; his wife Linda Carolyn Long; his daughters, Shelley Goodman Huskins (Randy) of Italy and Stephanie Goodman (Art) of Belize; his grandchildren, Rachel, Chloe Huskins, Ryan and Sarah Moore; and his siblings, Jack Goodman, Martha Norcross and Charles Wray. He was also cherished by two daughters.
