He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Tovar (Gutierrez); his children, Tessa Catherine South (Michael South) of Italy, Texas and Jesse Tovar Jr. (Amy Tovar) of Italy, Texas; and his grandchildren, Michael, Catherine, Evelyn, Francis, Arianna, Britany and Travis.
