It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Riojas of Italy, Texas, born in Pasadena, Texas, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Timoteo Riojas and Esther Riojas; and his siblings, Jessie Riojas, Enedelia Jacinto and Evelia R. Pena.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Marie Nelms; his sister Erma (Juan Martinez); his children, Timoteo Riojas (Lily) and Cindy (James Cashion); and his grandchildren, Cathy, Timothy Cashion of Avalon Texas, Marcos Kinser, Caty Betancourt of Avalon Texas and Tim Riojas of Italy Texas. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
