He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ilse Gaupp and Frederick Gaupp; his son Bill; his daughter-in-law Patty Gaupp; his granddaughters, Kelly Villasenor, Becky Pahlka and Christy Stacy; his brother Peter Gaupp (Jo-Lou Gaupp); his nephew Andrew Gaupp; his niece Robin Gaupp; and his brother England. He was also cherished by spouses, and six great grandchildren.

In keeping with his life of service, the family asks that donations in his memory be made to a charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.
