He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Parks and Vera Blevins; his former wife Lorraine Parks; his wife Patricia Parks; and his stepdaughter Denise Jackson.

He is survived by: his siblings, Dan (Vicky Parks) and Pearl Hatch; his daughters, Belinda (Randy Katz), LeaLonda (Hermann Kaeferbek), Heather (Bob Schwind) and Valerie (Chris Caviness); and his stepchildren, Dennis (Colleen Lambrecht) and Sally Love. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
