He was predeceased by: his father John Eric Adams Sr.; his great-grandparents, Audrey and Bobby Monroe; and also, Elizabeth, Makayla and Joshua Adams.

He is survived by: his mother Connie Lynn Adams; his father-in-law Nathan Fields; his siblings, John Eric Adams Jr. and Jennifer Dawn Adams; his stepbrother William Robert Fields; his grandparents, Melvin Crawford and Carolyn Sue Crawford; his uncles, Lewis Crawford and Phillip Crawford; his niece Aidelynn K. Rubio; his nephew Jacob E. Rubio; and his cousins, Decorah and Brooklyn.
