He was predeceased by: his parents, Salvatore John Romano and Mary Domenica Cioffi Romano; and his brother John Carmen Romano. He is survived by: his wife Sherlene Sloan Romano; his children, Paula Romano Marsh (Michael Marsh) and Niles Romano (Sarah Romano); his grandchildren, Montana Dale Marsh (Daphne Marsh), Madeline Sloan Marsh Brinkley (Dakota Brinkley), Manning Oliver Marsh and Oliver Salvatore Romano; and his siblings, Donald Romano (Terry) and Lucille Romano (Jim Wrisley). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (606 W Airport Fwy, Irving, TX 75062). A rosary was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Catholic Church (2323 Cheyenne St, Irving, TX 75062). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060).
