She is survived by: her siblings, Rosellen Attardi Nguyen (Phuoc) and Roy Attardi; her nephews, Christopher Nguyen (Stephanie) and Nicholas Nguyen (Jessica); her niece Jennifer Nguyen-Hurst (Geoff); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Hannah Miller (Duncan), Tai Nguyen, Aidan Hurst and Olivia Hurst.
In lieu of flowers, Renita's wishes were to ask people to donate to either The All-Secure Foundation which is a non-profit organization serving. Special Operation warriors and their families to heal from the trauma of war, or The Sentinel Foundation purpose which helps to end underage children being exploited around the world.
