She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Phillips and Oneda Bailey; and her husband David Herman. She is also survived by her children; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as extended family.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
