She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Aubrey Cockburn and Verble Morell Cockburn (Tucker); her sister Jody LaDell Christal; and her brother-in-law Jerry Christal. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Garrett of Irving, Texas; her daughters, Vicki Wilson of Lake St, Janice Garrett of Irving, Texas and Jimmi Garrett of Irving, Texas; her granddaughters, Melanie Fletcher of Ft. Worth and Mandi Myers of Lake St; and her great grandchildren, Travis Fletcher, Liam Myers and Allie Myers.
