Malou Parent Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Malou Parent (Irving, Texas), who passed away on December 17, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Malou may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.

She is survived by: her parents, Harold A. Parrott and Genevieve Marie Parrott; her husband Lewis Parent; her children, Mark Parent (Patty), Susan Parent (Ozzie Brito) and Lisa Willhoite; and also Malou. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, one expected great great grandchild.

“So sorry to see on Facebook that Malou, who I knew because we were both at the University of Nebraska at the same time and I believe we both belonged to Kappa Delta Sorority, The other thing we had in common was that our husbands were friends. Is Lewis still living? My husband, Wayne, died in 2015. So sorry to hear of her passing and the loss to your family. Betty Parks Thompson.”
