He was predeceased by: his father Lloyd Freeman; his stepfather Bobby Joe Edgington; and his mother-in-law Della Jean DeClue. He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Freeman Edgington; his wife Sheila DeClue Freeman; his children, Joy Freeman Lanford (Todd), Elizabeth Freeman Ramos (Gabe), Ryan Freeman (Amanda), Brittany Freeman Jackson (Steven) and Devan Freeman (Payton); his stepmother Paula Freeman; his father-in-law Robert DeClue; his siblings, Keyla Freeman Cohen, Michael Scott Freeman and Daniel Freeman; his brothers-in-law, William Walker and Shawn DeClue; his stepsisters, Pat Hilburn and Alexis Horton; and his grandchildren, Ava, Austin, Kynnleigh, Hayden, Aurora, Hunter, Andrew and Linkin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Baptist Church (8001 Mustang Dr, Irving, TX 75063). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
