He is survived by: his family, Oak Cliff and Buddy; his wife Verna Sue Collins; his sister Nancy Jane Collins; his children, Shannon Huckaba (Tony), Michael Collins and Nikki Blass (Casey); his grandchildren, Ryan Huckaba (Alyssa), Austin Huckaba (Candice), Collin Huckaba, Brookelynn Huckaba, Landin Blass (Brianna), Kennedy Blass (Dylan) and Casen Blass; and his great grandchildren, Lyla, Stella, Willow and Daxtin.
In leu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society, both causes close to Buddy's heart.
