He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Peek and Opal Peek; his siblings, Royce Peek, Bobby Peek, Benny Peek and Sheila Peek; and his grandson Alexander Gonzalez.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Antonia Peek; his children, Terri Peek, Antonia Pargas and Joe Dan Peek Jr.; his grandchildren, Marianna Guzman, Brianna Guzman, Ivan Chavez, Joe Manuel Peek, Gilbert Peek, Jon Andrew Peek, Lauren Peek, Anthony Pargas, Steven Pargas, Alyssa Gonzalez, Valarie Pargas and Mark Pargas; and his friend Albert Villavicencio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and his dear family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chism-Smith Funeral Home (403 S Britain Rd, Irving, TX 75060).
