It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Francis Turner of Irving, Texas, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Cornelius and Effie Turner (Durham); his siblings, Virgil, Donald, Kenneth, Glen, Juanita, Lois, Eloise and Melodise; and his daughter Karen Lynn Turner.

He is survived by: his former wife Mary Elizabeth Oates of Bailey; his wife Ima Jeanette Gage (Harvey); his son Ronald J. Turner (Janice) of Euless, TX; his grandchildren, Jennifer L. Justison (Jason Ankrom) of Heidelberg, PA and David S. Turner of Fort Worth, TX; and his great grandchildren, Samantha N. Youngblood of Avalon, PA and Ryan B. Youngblood (Abby McLean) of Burgettstown, PA..

In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
