He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. C. Rudder and Virginia Norris Rudder; his sister Terri Rudder Thomas; his wife Sherry; his children, Mary Bailey, Melissa Brooks, Jimmy Rudder and Joshua Rudder; his stepdaughter Courtney; his siblings, Debbie Farris and Tracy Rudder; and his pet Toby. He was also cherished by his eleven grandchildren.
