It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Cook (Irving, Texas), born in Dallas, Texas, who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Cook and Nola Cook; and his son Jimmy Paul Cook. He is survived by: his wife Carol Cook of Whitesboro, TX; his daughters, Debra Smith (Randy) of Whitesboro, TX, Jeanette Cook of Whitesboro, TX, Lynn Williams (Jeff) of Durant, OK and Gayle Cook (Dave) of Krum, TX; his pet Cowboy; his grandchildren, Justin Cook of Dallas, Jared Cook of Gainesville, Darci Bowen (Derek) of Durant, Curts Williams (Brittany) of Durant, Jimmy Don Ludlam (Ashlie) of Denison, Caleb Ludlam of Sherman, Bryan Smith of Whitesboro, Britni Smith of Whitesboro, Heather Rowinsky (Christopher) of Denham Springs and Courtney Cook (Tony) of Denham Springs; and his brothers, Jay Cook (Martha), Randy Cook (Nola) and Guy Stovall.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in his name to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 27260 F.M. Road 121, Tioga, TX 76271.
