He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Andrew Hickey and Addie May Hickey; his stepmother Jonelia Ruth Hickey; and his brother Jerry Hickey. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Howell Hickey; his children, Darrell Jack Hickey (Lynn) of Lewisville, TX and Dana Hickey Wright (Brian) of Corinth, TX; and his grandchildren, Christopher Hickey, Kyle Hickey, Connor Wright and Kayden Wright.

Jack's family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Irving.
