He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Emil Block and Dorothy Anderson Block; his daughter Gretchen (Greta); his wife Nancy Dillon of Irving; his daughters, Elizabeth Treat (Libby) and Rachel Smith (Brooks Smith) of Richardson; his grandchildren, Chloe Smith (Trey Binegar) of Aubrey, Rose Treat of Irving and Anders Smith of Richardson; and his sister Judi (William Boyles) of Dallas.
