He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Parkhill and Grace Parkhill; his wife Betty Parkhill; his stepdaughters, Dawnna Englund and Darien Creese; his brother Gene Parkhill; his brother-in-law Van Penrod; and his nephews, Dennis Parkhill and John Penrod.
He is survived by: his sister Ruth Penrod of Houston, Texas; his children, Michael Parkhill (Faye) of Arlington, Texas and Nancy Parkhill Taylor (Jim) of Gordon, Texas; and his stepdaughters, Debbie Viers of Cedar Rapids and Diana Clarke (Tim) of Watauga, Texas.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and a newborn great-great-grandson.
