It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Caroline Wheelwright of Irving, Texas, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. While her presence may be gone, her impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
She was predeceased by: her son Tim. She is survived by: her children, Susan, Craig (Linda), Joanna (Denise), Kelli (Gerald) and Paul (Michele); and her aunt Georgie. She is also survived by Grandmother or Grandma.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey (400 US-377, Aubrey, TX 76227). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Pilot Point Community Cemetery (600 N Prairie St, Pilot Point, TX 76258).
