Duane Vanderwater Obituary
We bid farewell to Duane Vanderwater of Irving, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 29, 2025 at the age of 96. Duane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora Ann Vanderwater and Leon Albert Vanderwater. He is survived by: his sister Rita Boyd; his son-in-law Tom Houseman; his wife Marilyn Jean Vanderwater; his children, Kurt Vanderwater (Susan), Marjorie V. Houseman, Paul Vanderwater (Candace) and Tim Vanderwater (Cindy); his grandchildren, Kristopher Vanderwater (Ju Young), Debra Neas, Kara McRay (Jesse), Tim Houseman (Kit), Rachael Bryant, Olivia Vanderwater, Laura Scott (Dallas), Ashley Morris (Jacob), Megan Vanderwater and Brittnie Sturm (James); his great grandchildren, Alaise Vanderwater, Kai Vanderwater, Falyn McRay, Cayden Scott, Micah Scott, Sebastian Scott, Aubrie Morris, Everett Morris, Jackson Sturm, Noah Sturm and Finley Sturm; and also Duane.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Woodhaven Presbyterian Church (3650 N O'Connor Rd, Irving, TX 75062).
