He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Mendes and Thereza Mendes. He is survived by: his siblings, Anthony Mendes, Zelma Mendes and Alice Lobo; his nephews, Elton and Sheldon Lobo; and his niece Angel Lobo.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chism-Smith Funeral Home (403 S Britain Rd, Irving, TX 75060). A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Nazareth Catholic Parish (2323 Cheyenne St, Irving, TX 75062). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Memorial Gardens (1413 E Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75060).
