It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Waco H Thornton Jr. (Irene, Texas), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on August 15, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Waco H. Thornton Sr. and Grace Carol Homan; his wife Irene Doris Sadowski Thornton; his brother Richard Thornton; his nephew Patrick Thornton; and his son-in-law Geoff High.

He is survived by: his daughters, Chanel Caruso (Brian Humplik), Crystal Thornton, Cynthia Hays (Donald), Cheryl Thornton (Kevin Box) and Diane High. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers the family kindly ask donations be made in Waco's name to the Leukemia Foundation.
