He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Madrid Cass Jordan and Carl Jordan; his wife Shirley Nicholson Cranford; his children, John N. Cranford, Jr. (Melissa) and Chrystal Sloan (Tommy); his granddaughters, Jenna Cranford and Tara Sloan; and his great grandchild Derrick Bradley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society – NC, 1901 Brunswick Ave., Charlotte, NC 28207.
