He is survived by: his wife Janis Proffitt of Iredell; his children, Denise (Wallace Glab) of Lubbock, Doug Proffitt (Jill) of Belton, Rod Proffitt (April) of Stephenville, Donna (Steve Rhodes) of Carolina Beach, NC, Cole Proffitt (Rita) of Iredell and Sandy (Jerry Pyburn) of Iredell; and his sisters, Glenda Ann Sund, Linda Cipri and Diana Martin of Colorado. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
