He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Wellborn and Lillie Mae Wellborn. He is survived by: his wife Diana Reddell; his sons, Joel Wellborn (Regina) and Troy Wellborn (Jacque); his grandchildren, Sheldon, Taylor, Micah and Emily Wellborn; and his siblings, James T., Jr., Rexie VanWinkle (Wayne) and Dartha Kettering (David).
