It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leandro Zapata of Iraan, Texas, who passed away on August 17, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leandro Zapata to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ceasar Zapata and Lucinda Zapata (Martinez); his son Leandro Zapata III of San Carlos; and his granddaughter Victoria Najar of Ozona, TX.. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Robert, Laura Zapata of San Antonio, Ray, Tammy Zapata of Iraan, Yolanda and Rodolfo Navarette of Odessa; and his brothers, Guadalupe, Ludevina Zapata of Del Rio, Francisco, Santiaga Zapata of San Carlos, Coahuila and Mexico. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
