It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Iona Lanehart of Iraan, Texas, born in San Angelo, Texas, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Carl Collett and Alpha Fern Smith Collett; her husband Burton M. Lanehart; and her son Raymond Mark Lanehart (Buddy). She is survived by: her daughter Carol Lanehart Willingham; her grandchildren, Mark, Leslie Ritter, Will Lanehart and Brittney Lanehart; her great grandchildren, Christopher Lanehart Ritter, Caroline Kathleen Ritter and Lincoln Andrew Lanehart; and her sister Lois Morris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
