He is survived by: his daughters, Elsa Olvera (Ulises Olvera), Brenda Chavez (Jose Solis) and Diana Calvert (Shane Calvert); his grandchildren, Ulises Olvera Jr., Jessica Garcia, Jazlyn Solis, Kathryn Calvert, Jayla Solis and Aiden Calvert; and his siblings, Jose Chavez Campos, Juan M. Chavez, Maria Chavez Esquivel, Isabel Chavez Pechacek and Eva Chavez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
