She was predeceased by: her parents, Cristobal Benavides and Trinidad Gonzales. She is survived by: her children, Gregorio Mendiola of San Antonio, Maria Zepeda of Florida and Rosa Leyva of Iraan. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
