It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Harry Pappas (Iowa Park, Texas), born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on November 16, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Pappas and Esther Pappas (Sonnenburg); his daughter Barbara Ann Pappas; and his sister Ruthie Sola. He is survived by: his wife Oleta Pappas; and his children, James Pappas, Amy Whitson (Neal), Julie Pappas, Tom Pappas (Bonnie) and Ronald Pappas (Barbara). He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorial donations be made in James's name to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
