He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Brantly and Nettie Lee Jackson (Farris); his siblings, Roy Clinton, Dessie Ingram and Hallie Helms; and his son-in-law Don Moore.

He is survived by: his wife Iva Foreman; his children, LaWana, Don Moore, Ricky and Patsy (Frie); his grandchildren, Stacy (Harry Rice), Sheri (Gilbert Stouard), Terri (Dustin) and Cody (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Derek, Connor Hostas, Daniel, Sonya Gast, Londyn Stouard, Hali Brown, Laci, Gauge Newman, Kayla Jackson and Duston D'onofrio.
