He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Mary Clary (Massey); his former wife Lora Mildred Clary; and his siblings, Daisy, Jackie, Doris and Dalton.
He is survived by: his wife Zelma Clary of Iola; his children, Walter Clary (Glenda) of Iola, Rick Clary (Sandy) of Waco, Edward Rister (Kara) of The Woodlands and Kelly Leon (Larry) of Plano; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rister, Hannah Rister, Alex Smith, Kyle Smith, Jonathan Rister, Jason Clary (Amy), Carl Clary (Michelle) and Shelli Sheppard (Troy). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and three great, great-grandchildren.
