He was predeceased by: his parents, Oakley H. Sullins and Josie Commander Sullins; and his siblings, Doris Sullins Kennedy, Helen Sullins Brock and A. C. Sullins.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sullins (Jackson) of Iola; his children, Connie Waters of Goliad, Blaine Sullins of Goliad and Shane Sullins (Cathy) of Victoria; his stepson Charles Coton (Laurie) of Houston; his grandchildren, Kim Byrd, Chris Waters, II (Belinda), Rachel Davis (John), Cassie Mangum (Jason), Jason Sullins (Kelly), Bryan Sullins (Kerri), Kaylon Robinson (Eric), Holly Hahn (Paul) and Zachary Coton; and his former wife Dorothy Bego Sullins. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
