He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Gilmore and Lottie Kirby Gilmore; his wife Marilyn Gilmore; his brother Bob Gilmore; and his grandchildren, Megan Gilmore and Jeremy Gilmore.
He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Gilmore, Gary Gilmore (Paula) of Somerville, Carilyn Muzny (Donald) of Caldwell, Ernest Gilmore II of Ohio and Sabrina Day (Brad) of Ruston; and his sister Faye Muth-Hunt of Great Bend, Kansas.. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
