Debra Maudine (Warden) Rowinsky Obituary
Debra M. Rowinsky (Debbie), 65, of Iola, Texas passed away in her home on February 21, 2023. Debbie was the personification of the word fierce. A strong woman with a heart of gold, she lived for all those whom she loved. Her hearts greatest joy was to serve others and her entire life was spent doing so. Debbie also really enjoyed crafting, food, and fellowship with friends and family. Any event she could plan that would incorporate all those things was done lovingly and with months of preparation. Her dearest joy came from her children and grandchildren, who along with her husband Pat, her Peas, and her Gurlz were her whole entire world. She was the heart of her family, immediate and extended, and she will be so very, very missed.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Deena Kay Woods and A.C. Warden, both brothers, Dennis Woods and A.C. Warden Jr. (Guy), and her sister, Lisa Sorenson.
Debbie is survived by her husband of 42 years, Patrick Rowinsky, of Iola, Texas, her 4 children and 9 grandchildren:
Jessica and husband Wes Jeans, of Trinity, Texas and their children Madison and Jaxson. Jaqulynn and husband Erik Naumann, of College Station, Texas and their child Myles. Emily and husband Kerlin Keller, of Franklin, Texas and their children June, Thomas, Jakob and Nathan. Christopher and wife Heather Rowinsky, of Denham Springs, Louisiana and their children Keylee and Christopher Jr. She is also survived by 4 sisters, her Peas, her Gurlz and countless others including nieces, nephews, friends, and family that will all miss her dearly.
A Celebration of Life event in her honor will be held Saturday, March 11, 2023 starting at 5 p.m. at the Franklin Fire Station #2, located at 119 Redden Lane Franklin, Texas 77856. Dinner will be served at 6pm with a dance/ time of fellowship immediately after. The family respectfully asks that you greet them with “My favorite memory of Debbie was ...” instead of “I'm sorry for your loss,” please. Dinner is generously being provided for the event, making an RSVP greatly appreciated. Please RSVP by 6pm on March 2nd via text to 979-224-0815 with how many will be coming to celebrate her life and favorite things. In lieu of flowers, please send a card or text to her loved ones with your favorite memories or stories so that they may read them and cherish every memory.
