He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Schneider and Emma Josephine Schneider; his wife Betty Lou; and his son Rodney C. Schneider Jr.. He was also cherished by his 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like any donations sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
