He was predeceased by: his parents, Adaline Weathers and Raymond McCarthey; and his brothers, Joe, Don, Mike McCarthy and Darryl Weathers.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy McCarthey; his children, Lori Lane, Trey (Laura), Chase and Joshua McCarthey (Autumn); his grandchildren, Eric, Michael, Alexa, Matthew, Raleigh and Diesel; and his siblings, Sandy, Patti, Mary and Mark.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at 1913 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028.
