He is survived by: his father Robert Smith of Elkhart, IN; his stepson Daniel Gonzales; his mother-in-law Jesusa Gonzales; his wife Cruz Smith; his son Andrew Smith of Ingleside, Texas; and his siblings, Gregory R. Smith of Anchorage, Alaska, Douglas J. Smith (Yolanda) of San Antonio, Texas, Eric R. Smith of Fort Wayne, IN and Barbara Outka (Gary) of Rapid City.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or any Cancer Organization of choice, in Peter's memory.
