He is survived by: his wife June Sherrod; his children, Harold "Dean" Sherrod Jr., Clinton, Kellie Farr (Jory), Jodie Faircloth, Roy, Lance Sherrod, Garland, Chance Sherrod (Brooke), Bruce Sherrod (Sharlee) and Tracy Sherrod (Charity); his siblings, Ray Sherrod and Kay Hamblin (Craig); his sister-in-law Louella Sherrod Knoxville Tn; and also, Gary, Rita Breitweiser, Sam, Cheryl Thomas and Dixie Tippets.
