He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Bowen and Joan Ann Willette; his son Harold Bowen Jr.; his stepfather Perry "Papa Dutch" Smith; and his brothers, Dennis Bowen, Richard Bowen and John "Bo" Bowen.
He is survived by: his significant other Nora Bowen; his daughters, Lisa Reiter (Jeremy), Missy Pena, Christine Hartman (Joseph) and Mary Davies (Bobby); and his siblings, Karen Coleman (Clarence), Peggy Bowen and Perry "Dutch" Smith (Della). He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and their spouses.
