He was predeceased by: his parents, Maudie Dean and John Howard Holt; his wife June Dolores Holt; his son James Howard Holt; his great grandchildren, Kaleigh Paige Sheffield and Isabelle Jaimes Bloomquist; and his siblings, Eugene Holt, Stella Eliott, Beulah Sawyer, Aubrey Holt, Tina Everett, Jewel Blaylock and Roland Sawyer.
He is survived by: his friends, Ed Williams, Don Burns and Pete Perkins; his children, Mary Sowers (Kim), Patricia Sheffield (Floyd), Gerald Glenn Holt and Katie Jones (Jim); his grandchildren, Patrick Jones, Shawna Hales, Shari Matula, Leah Carpenter, Matthew Sheffield, John Sheffield, Jeffrey Holt, Robert Holt, Mary Kay Jones, Rebecca Bell, Jack Jones and Elizabeth Bloomquist; and his friend Roy Irwin. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
