He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joe Clarence and Mae Irene Monroe (Armstrong); his wife Norma Jean Monroe (Raab) of Ingleside, Texas; his daughter Mae Irene Monroe of Midland, Texas; his grandsons, Joe Clarence Monroe II and Devin Michael Cryer; his great grandchild Solomon Michael Monroe; and his siblings, Arthur Monroe, Steve Monroe, Daniel Monroe, Les Monroe, Chris Monroe, Mike Monroe and Marilyn Monroe.
