He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberto Lopez Sr. and Leonor Lopez (Avila); his son Mark Lopez; and his siblings, Ruben Lopez and Adelita Cortez.
He is survived by: his wife Alma Lopez of Ingleside, Texas; his children, Dr. Jesse Rivas (Donna) of Dallas, Albert Lopez of San Antonio, Adrian Lopez and Belinda Keyes of Michigan; and his siblings, Armando Lopez of Corpus Christi, Texas and Maria Helen Hollran of Aransas Pass, Texas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
