He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Abel and Evelyn Abel; his sister Dottie Ann; and his grandson Timothy Enoch Abel. He is survived by: his spouse Jerrie Ann Rawls of Rogers, TX; his children, Cherie Renee Strohmeyer (Andy), Lowery Thomas Rawls Abel (Rachel) and Joshua Andrew Abel (Rebecca); and his grandchildren, Bailey Elizabeth Strohmeyer, Sullivan Blake Strohmeyer (Sully), Jaxson Andrew Abel Strohmeyer (Jax), Joanna Kate Abel, Kelsey Grace Strohmeyer, Nathanael Albert William Abel (Nathan), Lowery Thomas Rawls Abel, Jr. (L. T.), Megyn Brooke Abel and Ezekiel Andrew Abel (Zeke).
