She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton Jessie Williams Sr. and Annie Bell Ray Williams; her sisters, Mildred Williams and Gloria Jean Williams Stevens; her brothers-in-law, Sterling Moore and James Stevens; her nephew Vincent Peterson; her husband Steven Carter; her children, Stefanie Hymes (Dwight) and Joshua Carter (Faren); her siblings, Milton Williams (Ruth Ann) of Brenham, Eugene Williams Houston (Bernadette) of Texas, Doris Peterson (Tom), Dorothy Lewis (Bishop Charlie Lewis), Linda Pruitt (Clovis), Jenthia Moore, Yvonne Aneke (Mark), Diana Williams and Lisa Wells Navasota (Ronnie); and her grandchildren, Hannah Louis-Jean, Ka-Miah Hymes, Kenyon Gates, Zachariah Hymes and Caiden Carter. She was also cherished by relatives and friends.
